What the hell is this supposed to mean?
Come on, Tropicana! Shame on you.
I’d rather take the difficult-to-handle girl any day over the sunshine blah blond.
Russian police rescued a 5-year old girl who was caged with cats and dogs her entire life. When the police found her, the girl only knew how to act like a dog.
She has never left the cage. Trapped in an apartment with no heat, no water, no sewage.
‘When carers leave the room, the girl jumps at the door and barks,’ the police said.
Out-of-the-closet gay police officers in Peru can now lose their jobs under a new law that also punishes officers for taking bribes and abusing detainees. The reason?

To tie in with TRANSFORMERS’ star Megan Fox’s upcoming cover on ESQUIRE magazine, the magazine commissioned this video.
Now, don’t get me wrong. Fox is stunning. My rant has nothing to do with her, but instead with the magazine. Do they really think this video will SELL magazines? [Of course, watch me be wrong.] Perhaps in this age of failing newspapers and magazines, editors are desperate to make some noise to prove their relevance. But I can’t shake the creepy image stuck in my head of the ESQUIRE editors (mid thirties, floppy hair, channeling David Hemmings) in a room planning the video shoot, drooling over themselves. “Let’s make her roll around in bed!”
What’s really disappointing is that this cheap stunt comes from a magazine that put up thought-provoking cover like these…
I’m actually excited to see Megan Fox in TRANSFORMERS 2. She was a delightful discovery from the first film (and of course, Shia “BABY CHEEKS” LaBeouf can do no wrong in my book) — which of course I had to see because Optimus Prime was my first childhood crush. [Come on people, I was like 7. Cut me some slack.]
I just wish the people who shape our culture like magazine editors still gave a damn.
VIA JEZEBEL: Iran Executes 23-Year-Old Woman
A 17 year old girl confessed to the murder of her father’s cousin. Later, it was revealed that she lied to protect her boyfriend, who convinced her she would not be punished.
Last Friday, Delara Darabi was executed.
Despite protests from human rights organizations, Darabi was executed Friday, after calling her mother and screaming, “Oh, Mother, I see the hangman’s noose in front of me. They are going to execute me. Please save me.” Darabi’s lawyer, Mohammad Mostafaei, claims the execution took place without family notification or a lawyer present. “She was denied a legal right guaranteed under the law, Mostafaei says, “The hasty execution and the ignoring of legal provisions suggests that some authorities were happy to put an end to her life.”
And the kicker? The boyfriend got 10 years in prison.
